Indo-Chinese tiger(Panthera tigris corbetti), Hanoi Zoo, Vietnam. Early in 2008 zoo officials admitted selling the bodies of tigers that had reportedly died of natural causes to animal traffickers. There has been a sharp increase in the keeping of tigers in Vietnam, raising fears that the animals are being farmed to supply the trade in body parts used in traditional medicine.
